the best shot i could get of the huge monument; near the Gellert Hill, it is what Budapest is also known for, its hot springs- thus this is something like a Spa.

House of Terror; it is an amazing place where i learnt about the Nazi's time, Austrian-Hungarian time and how the people suffered. There were videos of people telling their account of what happened during that time. The most hair-raising was how they remade the cellars of the prisoners or the ceoncentration camps thing. Kind of confused with too much information. I heard Berlin had the actual concentration camp which you can tour. I guess that is more real. But this was good enough to freak me out.

People: Most of the people were not that helpful. Mainly because they dont understand. But I met a couple of people who go out of their way to help me. I always have to ask what is in the food that i eat because of my special diet and i cant just grab food with the ‘halal’ sign on them because they are non existent.

Food: They have good bread. Very filling and tasty. Did i mention bread in Bratislava is not tasty?

Streets: It is not so easy to get lost in the city, the signs are clear and with a good map and a good head for maps, you will end up where you want eventually.

Sights: The most i’ve ever encountered. I heard that 2 days wont be enough but i covered most in 2 days. Of course it is a good place to spend at least 5 days. Local people dont care much for you honestly.

How i spent my last evening there: Went to watch an Iranian movie with a new friend and we shared what the movie was about and after that discussion, i apprecated the movie more. It is a philosophical movie, ‘So close, so far’. We then a wonderful discussion about religion at a coffee place.

p.s. movie was  so cheap, 800HUF which was 3 euros?
