Cosy eat out

6 Jan

Really happy we went there and glad it didn’t take long to get there too J  Have been enjoying my holidays and having more than enough time doing the laundry and other wifely duties though there isn’t much since mother does most of it and doesn’t want help.

Presenting to you, Nandos at City Square JB.

Interior decoration of the place is nice too

Sparkling Apple, i should have ordered bottomless ice lemon tea…but this was enough for us both too 🙂

Peri Kick start

With our 1/2 Chicken plus peri chips + potato salad

With all the excitement built up, we indulged into nando’s starter and found it delicious. We tend to react similarly to food arrives, all chatter would cease and we would dig in like hungry people.

Chips was nice and hot, crispy. Loved the sausage and kebab, the bread was delicious too! The little chicken with the starter wasnt that fantastic though, maybe it was a little cold when we started on it. However the wings was ok 😉

We left all the chicken for last, we chose mild hot because we both cannot take spice. The peri-peri garlic sauce had an interesting taste to it eaten with chicken would introduce a whole new taste to it. To me, the chicken was tasty and a little different but he said it tasted pretty normal.

Big portions, too much that we didnt finish it up. Advisable to take 1/4 chicken if you are already having starters.

Definitely worth it eating there, we are hoping to try out other restaurants when we go there the next time! We wouldnt mind company as well, the more the merrier 🙂

p.s. the food has a mediteranean feel to it as the peri peri was discovered in Africa. And yes, one of the sidelines offered was cous cous, the one we had in Siwa, Egypt.
